Karylin Veres

Although I am originally from sunny Tucson, Arizona, I moved to Chicago after receiving my BA in Theatre from Arizona State University. I have found success in the Chicago theater community and have even received two nominations for Best Performer in a Principal Role in a Musical, first at the 2021/2022 Non-Equity Jeff Awards for my portrayal of Queenie in The Wild Party, and this year for my role as Lily Garland in On The Twentieth Century.

I have had the privilege of working with respected Chicago theaters such as Music Theater Works (The Producers), Red Theater (Indoor Cats), and Blank Theatre Company (The Mad Ones, On The Twentieth Century, The Wild Party) all of which had critical success in the Chicago community.

I have also been lucky enough to have performed alongside TV and Broadway performers during my time in Phoenix. I played Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street alongside Charles Shaughnessy (TV's The Nanny), Debby Boone (Broadway's 7 Brides, 7 Brothers), and Eloise Kropp (Broadway's Dames at Sea).
